Bio Summary
Assistant Professor (RTDA) in Statistics at the MEMOTEF Department of Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), and a Research Associate at the MRC -Biostatistics Unit (BSU) of University of Cambridge (UK). Research interests are currently focused on the use of reinforcement learning and multi-armed bandits for conducting adaptive experiments and designing novel and innovative trials, such as adaptive clinical trials and micro-randomised trials, the current gold standard in mobile health (m-Health). Inference in adaptively collected data plays a central role in my research arena. Other research interests include but are not limited to: dynamic treatment regimes, educational, behavioural and clinical experiments, Bayesian and optimal designs, missing data, fairness, copula models.
