Doctor of Medicine, University of Navarra. Specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition. Coordinator of the Diabetes Area of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN). Throughout his career, he has held several prominent positions, including: Vice-president of the Sociedad Castellano-Leonesa de Endocrinología, Diabetes y Nutrición (SCLEDyN),Coordinator of the SCLEDyN Diabetes Group, Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Sociedad Española de Diabetes (SED). In addition, he has held academic roles as Honorary Professor at the University of Salamanca and Associate Professor and Clinical Consultant at the University of Navarra. He has participated in more than 15 multinational clinical trials and published more than 100 scientific papers in specialised journals in Diabetes.
